Works in Progress

I’m currently working on a few projects:

From a bunker deep under the Yorkshire Moors comes technology that will change the world forever…

Current status: I’m around 60,000 words into the first draft of this novel and am really looking forward to revising this one. There’ll be lots of historical research, which I love, to come with the next draft of this novel.

Ghosts of the Tower: Historical speculative fiction                                             Screenshot 2016-04-02 at 14.03.13

Who said that crimes could go unpunished? Victims become the judge and jury in this fantasy twist on a well known period of English history…

Current status: I’m trying to be vague about what exactly this project is about as it’s something that feels quite nebulous and unique at the moment. I’m in the planning stages of this novel, finding out the historical ‘truth’ of the events I’ll be writing about, so that things play out as they should.

I’m really excited about this project so expect to hear more about it soon!

Robot Dreams: YA Science Fiction

[Working title as know of another, famous, book by this title!]
If a robot could dream, what would it wish for?

Current status: This is based on an idea that I had at the end of March 2016, and I just decided to roll with it.

And, on the back burner for when these are done, I might consider writing:

Untitled New Adult murder mystery Screenshot 2016-04-02 at 14.28.39

I am loving crime novels at the moment and haven’t wrote anything like that, so am thinking of trying to write a murder mystery story at some point. It’s not even planned out in any way but I’ve wrote it down here just in case it does happen.
